This post brought to you by Carmex®. All opinions are 100% mine.
I always keep Carmex lipcare in our home. It is the best for what the winter weather does to my poor lips. Dry cracking skin has no chance. I love that tingle!
Well, now Carmex has skin care! I was given the chance to try the Carmex® Healing Lotion and Carmex® Healing Cream recently.
I’m really bad about drying my hands off completely. Morgan is too. Even though we know what will happen, this is a bad habit we both have. Every year when the season change and it starts getting windy and chilly out we both get chapped hands. Totally our own faults but also aided by our dry skin.
The packaging goes along with the Carmex theme we have all come to know over the years. The tubes are easy to open and easy to squeeze.
The first thing I noticed about the lotion and cream was the great scent. You can tell it’s a carmex product just from it’s scent, but it is not a strong or overwhelming scent at all. It is a fresh clean smelling scent. Morgan and I both used the cream and the lotion with great results.
It rubs right in, I can almost here my skin saying “thank you may I have some more?” There is no greasy residue either. I was able to notice a difference immediately. I alternated between both products using one for a day then switching to the other and they both worked great. I think that I like the cream better though just because my skin is so dry and I felt like I could use less of that.
This will definitely join our winter stock of Carmex lipcare and our skin will now be protected and taken care of this cold weather season as well.
You can buy the products at Walgreens stores, walgreens.com and drugstore.com. It retails for only $5.99.
