My New Addiction, the Cricut Mini!

11.05.2012 by Girl on Fire // 1 Comment

I have always looked at the Cricut machines in aww…just imagining the projects the girls and I could make with one.  But for some reason I never made the purchase.  You know how it goes, something you want…but can not justify because other things come up.  So when I was approached about reviewing the Cricut Mini I was so excited!

I didn’t even know there was a mini, this is much better for me than a full sized product because we are tight on space.  As a homeschool family, crafting is a big part of our everyday life.

The Cricut Mini is so easy to use!  I had some initial issues with the software.  For some reason I could not finish the install on my laptop, so I moved to the kids computer and did not have any issues.

I made my first project in minutes and can not wait to get started on special tags for the homemade Christmas gifts I will be making this year.  They will look so great with the homemade tags that will be simple to make with my new best friend, the Cricut Mini.

The girls are excited to use it in school projects!  Our lapbooks are going to look phenomenal!  Not only will they use it for school, but for fun as well!  The girls are all so creative and this is just another tool to express their artistic nature.

You can find so many ideas for the Cricut Mini!

The Photobooth props are definitely a must! Can you see how addictive this is getting to be?

This can be used so many ways educationally.  We could make games, matching cards, calendars, magnets for matching the states as a puzzle.  Really there is no limit to what you can create with this machine!  I am so happy to have this to use!

The possibilities are endless! I can not wait to get started on some Christmas crafts now! Keep watch for some photos of what we make!
I was sent a Cricut Mini to facilitate this review.  No compensation was received and all opinions are my own.

Handwritten Cards on a Budget

I don’t know about y’all, but receiving a handwritten card makes me feel special! I am the kind of person who really appreciates a card, it makes me feel like I mean something to you and I can look back on them if I am having a low day. I also love giving cards to […]
