Thinking of moving abroad?

03.20.2014 by Girl on Fire // Leave a Comment

At some point in their lives, many homeowners will toy with the idea of moving abroad. Whether it’s in pursuit of a better climate, a more relaxed lifestyle or a job opening, moving abroad can create a number of great opportunities for the entire family.

However, there are various factors to consider prior to such a move – especially if you have young children to think of. For example, if your little ones are about to undergo a number of crucial exams at school or college, now may not be the right time to move.

If you find yourself to be in a position to move abroad, you may wish to consider a move to the UK with homes in Birmingham. Apart from having direct access to an airport that offers both domestic and international flights, other amenities of this sprawling city include leafy expanses, intricate waterways, rolling parkland and a number of impressive public buildings.

Said to be one of the most successful regeneration schemes to date, Birmingham has much to offer in comparison with other European cities. With more canals than Venice, two renowned football clubs, a variety of upbeat restaurants offering various mouth-watering cuisines and a world-famous cricket ground, Birmingham is quickly becoming one of the most sought after places to live in the UK. One of the main reasons families choose to set up a home in Birmingham is because of the education. There are a variety of impressive schools located in and around the city, including a number of grammar schools.

Then there is the location to consider. Birmingham is just a short hop from the capital of London, which is easily accessed by train, plane and road. This makes the city a perfect spot for those wishing to commute to and from the capital on a daily basis.

In the near future, more than 20,000 new jobs are expected to be created due to the arrival of the HS2; this means Birmingham is a great home option for those wishing to move to a thriving city that boasts a great deal of potential. So whether you’re considering a move abroad, this city in the UK may be an ideal choice.
