My girls all love to help in the kitchen.  One thing I have noticed is when they make it, they eat it.  I’m one of those lucky parents that have kids that love raw fruits and vegetables.  I know for many this is not the norm. But why not give this idea a try with your own kids and see if they gobble up these Mini Snack-Kabobs made with Arla Dofino cheese.  Use the store locator to find Arla Dofino cheese.

Emma is a self proclaimed “Pickle-holic”.  She even has a fantasy land called “Pickletopia”…true story.  Anyhow, the point of telling you that is I found Arla Dofino Dill Havarti Cheese.  Keyword here is DILL.  So I snatched it up along with some grape tomatoes and cucumbers.

This was an easy project for my girls to do, I only had to supervise.  Now,Emma and Lauren are 8 and 10 and are skilled in some kitchen tasks.  Cutting with knives and using a vegetable peeler is something they can do.  If your child isn’t able to do this safely, you could prep it for them by doing all of the cutting and just letting them do the assembling.

Once everything is prepared they are ready for assembly!  We used colored toothpicks to make miniature kabobs.  Perfect for snacking!  Just have them place one half of a grape tomato, then a cucumber slice, then cheese, then cucumber and lastly the other half of the tomato.

If your kids are anything like mine, they will devour these!  Make sure you grab a few for yourself too!  Check the Arla Dofino Pinterest boards and Facebook for more ideas!

I feel good about giving Arla Dofino Cheese to my family.  It has been created in Wisconsin for over 100 years and is free of added hormones!

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Arla Dofino. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
