Morgan’s New Business Venture with the Mini Bowdabra®!

12.09.2010 by Girl on Fire // 7 Comments

Anyone who knows Morgan can tell you she is an entrepreneur.  A born entrepreneur.  This kid knows how to make money!  From a lemonade stand that can pull a $100 a day to dog walking, babysitting, baking and now hair bows!

She is just starting with the hairbows, but I have no doubt she will be successful in this venture just as she was in everything else.  Right now she is using what we had already.  I have rolls of tulle for tutus and then random ribbons that I have picked up here and there.  Thrift stores are great places to load up on this sort of thing for craft supplies.

She has recently fell in love with hairbows for herself so she is anxious to perfect the style of bow she wants to sell.  I think she is aiming towards tweens and teens.  I do see a project she was working on today for her sisters though as well.

I was really surprised at just how much stuff you can make with the Mini Bowdabra®!  I had no idea, really.  I watched the instructional DVD with Morgan and let me tell you…this is so easy!  Lauren and Emma will even be able to do it after being instructed by Morgan or myself.

I think this would make a great Christmas gift for a “tweenager” or even the adult crafters you know.  So keep this in mind while shopping for the rest of your Christmas gift!  A unique useful gift that will provide much enjoyment for the crafters/entrepreneurs in your life!

The Bowdabra product line is currently available in most major craft retailers, including Michaels, Jo Ann Fabric & Craft stores, Wal-Mart, A.C. Moore as well as numerous online retailers.

The Mini Bowdabra Hair Tool includes an instructional CD featuring 70 projects in a 541-page e-book with step-by-step instructions, 10 yards of bow wire, and the accessory kit itself. The CD e-book features holiday bows, dog bows and baby bows and includes four languages: English, Spanish, French, and German. The tool itself is in metric and inches.

The new product is available online at Bowdabra.com. SRP: $12.99

We were sent a Mini Bowdabra® to facilitate this review.  No compensation was received.  All opinions are 100% my own.

My daughter, who’s 7 and lives next door to a Mommy Entrepreneur who sells bows, would LOVE this. I can imagine her making her own bows and showing ’em off.

WOW!!! Thank you. Sarah Forhan invented the hair bow tool to be used with the mini bowdabra and Sarah spent tons of time making the bows and photographing the step by step instructions and it means a lot to me that you write such a positive blog.

    thank you.
