Some of my greatest memories as a child was some of the movies and television shows I would watch with my grandma on lazy weekends while taking time out from the swimming pool. She always used to let me watch old black and white scary movies and I loved it! That is probably where I developed my obsession with Frankenstein and Old school Vampires. There was also Zorro, Shirley Temple and many more. One of my favorites though… The Lone Ranger!
This Friday, June 28 you can take your family to meet Silver, the equine super-star from Walt Disney Picture’s The Lone Ranger. This is a rare opportunity! This is happening at the Mesquite ProRodeo and he is there to promote his new film. So be sure to bring your camera and get photos with this star! Be sure to talk to him about Johnny Depp!

- All the rodeo action you can handle! Get there early to meet Silver, and stay for the non-stop thrills of real Texas rodeo. The whole evening will be a celebration of all things Silver.
- The first 100 patrons through the door will receive screening passes for two people to see The Lone Ranger.
- Kids will also receive free Lone Ranger masks and bandanas!
The Mesquite ProRodeo has hosted many celebrities, including kings, presidents and rock stars in its 56 years as a Texas tradition. Now, the rodeo is hosting a Hollywood star. Don’t miss your chance to meet this equine super-star and get a photo – make sure to bring your camera! In addition to meeting Silver, there are pony rides, horse-drawn wagon rides and a photo bull – not to mention unbeatable BBQ, non-stop rodeo action, and unforgettable memories for you and your family.

I am a total Silver fan. The only way he could be more perfect were if he had a horn & jumped across rainbows. Wait, that wouldn’t be quite right for the Lone Ranger. A unicorn would be more liek the Power Puff Girls. Oh well, I’m still a horse fan from way back 🙂

This will be so cool. I was raised on Gun Smoke…my dad only watched westerns. I been wanting to see Lone Ranger so I can see Johnny Depp, he is such a great actor in any setting 🙂
