My mom worked for the American Red Cross for many years. Through her involvement I got an inside look at all they do to help many people on a daily basis. When a home would catch fire, they were there. When weather was tearing apart peoples homes, they were there. Disaster assistance is something they are known for! The American Red Cross helps so many people. From a place to stay, clothing, food and much more…the American Red Cross was there to help take care of it.
They also do other things like teach Babysitter’s safety courses, I even took this course as a kid. Or swimmers safety, another course I took as a kid. The American Red Cross also teaches first aid/CPR and sooo many other life saving courses. Oh, let’s not forget the blood drives! My dad’s life has been saved more than once through blood transfusions!
I am thankful that they are there to help. My family is the most important thing to me. If our house was to burn down, I am confident that The American Red Cross would be there to help. Like The American Red Cross, Master Lock wants to protect things you love as well as your important possessions. Have you heard of the Master Lock Vault? I am sure we all have $1.00 to spare to help others! Master Lock’s chose to donate to the American Red Cross to support the efforts they make in helping with the urgent needs Americans need! Needs like I mentioned above and even including assisting military members and their families during emergencies.
