Market Street, Fall Awesomeness! #MarketStreetTX

10.23.2014 by Girl on Fire // 19 Comments

Market Street is a great place for some fall awesomeness! Just look at the size of those Gourmet Caramel Apples!

We picked up two and my family of five could not finish them!

The biggest Caramel Apples I have ever seen!

Caramel Apples are not the only thing that Market Street has going on for fall. They also have a pretty great selection of pumpkins and decor!

pumpkins

Check out this HUGE pumpkin!  I told her if she could carry it, then she could get it.  Ha, that did not happen…

From Halloween decorations to Halloween treats, Market Street has everything you need!

decor

I love that we can go to Market Street and get everything we need.  We go there and make an afternoon of it.  First we get some lunch…

pizza

salad

Then I get my fancy coffee…

Then we head out to the playground to let the kids burn off some energy…I didn’t take photos because there were other families out enjoying the nice weather and I didn’t want them to think I was creepy haha!

After enjoying the playground we head back in to see what else Market Street has for us!

With this being October, Market Street is dedicated to helping educate and empower women to take charge of their own breast health.

I haven’t had a mammogram since I was about 13 yrs old.  I need to get this scheduled!  My Great Aunt is currently fighting breast cancer.  The United Family will donate $1 to breast cancer research with your purchase of $10 or more* if you wear pink to any Market Street store on Tuesdays in October.  They also have limited edition Pink reusable bags and they will donate $1 to breast cancer research from the sale of each pink bag. Last year, they raised over $25,000 for breast cancer research through their Pink initiatives. (* Up to a maximum donation of $10,000.)  Let’s make a promise to each other to get our breast exams scheduled ASAP!

Ok, this is what I was most excited about on this trip to Market Street…

marketstreetlodgecookware

The Lodge Cookware and Bakeware is GORGEOUS! The colors are Red, White and Blue and perfect for my country kitchen!  You can collect with earned points in the form of e-stickers.  You can earn one e-sticker for every qualifying $10 ticket spend.  You can then track your e-stickers on your receipt, on our mobile app, or online.  Use these e-stickers to cash in for Lodge Cookware and Bakeware!

  • Bakeware – These oven-to-tableware dishes are perfect for everything from every day entertaining to special occasions.
  • Cookware – Enameled Cast Iron is beautiful, durable and retains heat extremely well.

I was able to pick up darn near the entire set!  I hope to earn enough points to get the rest!  I’ll be preparing some Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Apples with my Lodge Bakeware tonight!  Watch for the recipe on the blog this weekend!

My family looks forward to a trip to Market Street and we can not wait to go shopping again!

What would you prepare this fall in Lodge Bakerware and Cookware?

So much fun! Now I really want to sink my teeth into a caramel apple. Love Lodge and have a bunch of their cast iron pans. I don’t think my collection will ever be complete.

Yum. The apples look divine! Caramel apples and chocolate apples are my all time favorite fall treat! I have not had one this season yet…..shame on me!

The Lodge cookware and bakeware looks like fabulous pieces to have in the kitchen. I have never heard of them….I wonder if it is a Texas thing? I am in New York.
