If you’re a teacher, a daycare provider, or heck… a parent in general, you know how important planning out your space is. Whether it’s home or work, planning out your environment is so important. You need a space that is comfortable and flows.

I know for me, I want a space that sparks creativity and is easy to clean. I have a ton of dogs and a bunch of kids. So easy to clean is super important. I also want it to look great.
To be honest, a lot of floors bore me. So when I think of planning out my own environments for creating and learning, I want something different. Something colorful that makes you want to be in there.

I’m not happy with my current spaces. They are cluttered and disorganized and the floors look just eh… Like, that’s the only word I can think of for it. Well, at the moment we rest, so there isn’t too much I can do about the floors. What I can change are the clutter and the disorganization.
I actually just got over being sick and now that I have spent 2 weeks straight in my home, I know it needs to be done now. So maybe it’s time for a little Marie Kondo?

Does it spark joy? To be honest, most of my things do not spark joy. I just need to get off my butt, bite the bullet and get it done. Maybe sell off some stuff that has been sitting in boxes and use it to get something I need.
If I owned my home I would plan more than just decluttering and organizing. I would totally paint the walls in colors that I love. You know, the colors that make you feel calm and happy.

Also, if I owned my home I would definitely change these floors. When we moved in I liked them, but in less than a year spots have worn off the flooring.
It’s supposed to look like hardwood floors and like I said, at first I loved it. They looked fantastic! Now though, certain areas of the wood grain have just disappeared and it is so obvious!

I found an amazing place that has the coolest flooring and some of the best flooring for education spaces because it really does bring me joy and sparks creativity. I know it sounds weird, but working from home and looking at things that make me unhappy kind of kills my mojo.
I’m really liking the lvt flooring choices! I swear I found some of the coolest designs! The one that I instantly fell in love with is called Aura and the image below is Aura in Green Mist. It’s absolutely gorgeous!

Even the wood prints are amazing! I love the Mannington Crown style! I think the one below is called Weathered Oak. Stunning right?

It will be a bit, but at least I can daydream until then! I plan to either go with something like this or maybe stained and sealed concrete. What do you think? What is your favorite durable flooring?
