I’m SO Excited for Makeup that I Can Wear! Habitually Awesome!

03.08.2017 by Girl on Fire // Leave a Comment

Makeup is something that I struggle with.  I used to wear a little consisting of foundation, powder, eyeliner and lipstick.  I’ve been on the search for makeup that I can wear!  Over the last few years my RSD has affected my skin more and my body’s responses to things I put on it.

I Could No Longer Wear Makeup

The first thing I had trouble with was mascara.  My eyes would itch, burn and even swell!  It was awfully uncomfortable, so I quit using mascara many years ago.  It sucked because I have very wimpy eyelashes.

Next, it was the eyeliner, the same thing happened.  But with the eyeliner, I started getting styes and other eye infections as well.  Now this made me soooo sad.  When you are chronically ill, you need all the help you can get with looking not so ill.  Eyeliner was my major go to.  It made me feel more normal.

Then came the sores (RSD Lesions) and discoloration.  The sweaty skin even caused adult acne.  What?  covered in acne at my age?  I didn’t even have bad skin in high school.

I’m Tired of Looking Sick

Needless to say, I look awful.  I look sick.  I look older than I am.  I’m unhappy.  I don’t want to go places.

Over the years I saw people talking about this crazy mascara.  If you are on social media, then you know what I am talking about.  I didn’t pay any attention, I just scrolled on by. Then more recently, I started seeing real photos and videos of women.  REAL.  Real women, no photoshop, no editing.  Normal women that were not makeup artists.  Women that had discolored skin, adult acne, scars, dark circles and more.  I watched them use this makeup, I watched them transform into flawless skinned women.  WOW.  I wanted that!

But I didn’t get it.  I had to learn more first.  So I talked to women, I asked questions.  I learned so much about how this specific makeup was changing people’s lives.  I learned about the ingredients and the standards of the makeup, I learned about the mission the company has and I fell in love.

Watch this video…

SERIOUSLY?

Can you seriously imagine what this did for her?  WOW!  That video right there is EVERYTHING!  Look how easily she did that!  No special skills, no layering on tons of product. This is what I needed!  She had zero negative reactions to the makeup.  It covered everything.  I love this!

So, I jumped in.  I’ll be sharing my journey of using these products with you.  I even set up a group on facebook if you want to join!  It’s not a sales group!  I’m collecting awesome women to help me boost my own awesomeness.  So if you are an awesome positive woman or on the road to being one, come join us!  The group is called Habitually Awesome.  I’ll even use that group to step out of my comfort zone and post photos and videos that include me (gasp)!  The other women in the group so far are some of the best women.  Super positive and encouraging.

Here is the group description:

I started this group to collect strong positive women. Yes, a collection of habitually awesome women! Boosting your self-esteem can have amazing results on how you feel health wise. All of your love, support and encouragement will be greatly appreciated! I want to start sharing this new journey with you! But guess what, it isn’t a sales group! It will be a group for all things awesome! This includes makeup, skin care, tips and tricks, a fun place for us to have girl talk, share adventures, share accomplishments in our personal life as well as our business life, share photos, get advice and learn together at the same time! I’m so excited to start sharing allll of the awesome things! Like I said this isn’t a sales group, but you can share what you do. Come be awesome with me

Makeup that I Can Wear

I really feel this is going to be the one, makeup that I can wear.  This is going to make the difference.  So let me tell you what I did, I jumped in and got the presenters kit.  Why?  Well, it was an affordable way to try many products at once and I could tell everyone else how it went.  I know there are more people that have the same issues as me.  The presenters kit does not mean that you HAVE to be a presenter.  That is something you can choose to do or not to do.  There isn’t any other cost involved and they even give you a website to use if you do want to be a presenter.  So basically, I’m not selling the makeup, but I am going to share it and people can click over and buy it if they want too!
