When I saw this Lemon Pound Cake Recipe, I knew I just had to repost it. I can not wait to try it for myself!

He used to entice us to come visit by saying “I’ll make my pound cake!”…as if we needed a reason to see his smiling face. It was definitely reserved for special occasions and although we first tasted it back in the early 60’s, he never shared the recipe…
