The people at Lamps Plus Labs emailed me a link to a video. It cracked me up because as an artist I totally get it. I wanted to share it with you.
A couple of the younger staff members who work at LAMPS PLUS thought it would be fun to start a project called “LAMPS PLUS LABS” where we come up with little grassroots video clips related to what we do here.
Our first one “The Closer” features a designer who is struggling to sketch his next lamp. After a few tries, he goes out into the world for a stroll & we find out he’s obsessed with closing objects. After his outing, he comes back to the drawing board and discovers his new design will employ what was in front of him all along.

Brandy is passionate about many things and suffers from a very painful and degenerative neurological disease called CRPS/RSD.
