Last week my face was red, so very red. Out on the boat with the sun reflecting off the water and right onto my face! I was shocked at how burnt I had gotten. So after that day I have been using Coppertone SPORT® with Replenishing Antioxidants. No more red faces for this fishing chick! It’s sweat-proof so it’s perfect for outdoor activities. Available in lotions SPF 30, 50, 70+ and 100+ as well as continuous sprays SPF 30, 50, 70+ and 100.
I guess I was just thinking that it had to be hot and sunny out to need sunscreen. I know that’s not very bright, but it really didn’t cross my mind to use sunscreen right now until I came home red faced. After using the Coppertone SPORT and going out on the lake (for several hours at a time), I am happy to report there was no more burning on this girls face! I was worried about breaking out as well, I thought the sunscreen would be really greasy, but it wasn’t. I rubbed it in really well and have had no ill effects from it.
It does not have to be sunny out to get burnt, especially when you are on the water with the water reflecting onto your face. Also, did you know that the snow reflects 80% of the sun’s rays, making you just as susceptible to sun damage!
For the girls we have been using the Coppertone® Water BABIES® Sunscreen Foaming Lotion. It’s super easy to apply because it is a light and airy foam. It’s available in SPF 75+. This is great for Emma and Lauren both since they have sensitive skin.
Also available from Coppertone:
- Coppertone® Water BABIES® Pure & Simple 2oz: Offers sun protection that’s tear-free in an ideal size for the diaper bag. The ultra gentle formula is mild for babies’ delicate skin and won’t sting or irritate eyes.
- Coppertone Kids® with Protective Vitamins: Contains a specially-selected antioxidant vitamin blend to supplement the natural defenses of children’s skin. Available in lotion SPF 70+ and Continuous Sprays SPF 50 and 70+.
I received samples of the Coppertone products featured in this post to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own.
