Much to our surprise, we woke up to snow today! It’s pretty strange! In all the years I have been here in Texas, it has never snowed this early in winter. Usually in February or March we may get a small bit of snow. Today was a first. It was pretty for about an hour. Now it’s totally slushy mush! Everything in muddy and dirty looking now.
I wish it would have stuck around today, the girls really wanted to go play in it. I wish I could take them sledding and stuff like I did as a kid. Sledding was fun, but I hated trying to get back to the top of the sledding hill. Hot chocolate afterwards…hmmmmm good times. We even did this as teenagers too. I miss that!

Please keep that 4-letter word stuff that shall not be named at your house LOL. I’m not ready for it yet. Our temps have stayed in the 50’s thus far.

I actually get sick of NH snow, but know if I was away for along time I certainly would miss it. The weather has been crazy, hasn’t it?

Hi Brandy – congratulations on the snow! I live in Colorado and we get our fair share (and then some) around this time of year. It snowed all last night and the kids were begging for a snow day this morning 🙂 I found your blog through BlogFrog and wanted to stop and say welcome! If you ever have any questions or have suggestions for how we can be better – please let us know.
