I’m So Excited!

06.04.2009 by Girl on Fire // 3 Comments

test-drive-buttonYes yes yes!  I am so super excited!  It is almost time for me to get my new Frigidaire Affinity Front Loading Washer and Dryer!  As I have told you in a previous post, I am a Frigidaire Test Drive Mom and I could not be more stoked!

Moms’ laundry list of to dos is putting a wrinkle on romance…

  • Only 17 percent of moms said they spend their free time with their spouse/partner.
  • Nearly 70 percent of moms said they spend only 15 minutes or less each day cuddling with their partner, for an average of three hours per week.
  • Nearly 40 percent of moms said they never have a date night with their significant other.
  • Moms are more likely to be spending time making meals than making out with 52 hours each month spent on food preparation (meals and snacks) and just 12 hours each month cuddling with her spouse or partner.
  • Partners and household pets get equal attention with moms spending 17 hours each month taking care of Fido and 20 hours each month talking with her spouse or partner.
  • Moms are so tired that when asked their favorite activity, she would rather do “nothing” over “getting steamy” with spouse/partner (48 percent vs. 28 percent).

These new appliances are supposed to give moms more time to do the things they really want to do, like spend time with the family!  I can not wait to get my pretty red washer and dryer….just look at them…pretty right?
