ICE AGE, CONTINENTAL DRIFT #Review

Looking for something fun to do with the family this weekend?  Why not head out and catch the new Ice Age movie!  Ice Age: Continental Drift is out now in theaters!

The family and I went to a screening last weekend.  Like all the Ice Age movies before this one, it did not disappoint.  This is most definitely a movie that the entire family can enjoy together.  Even the tough daddy types will be laughing at loud.  Seriously, who can sit through a moment with Scrat and not laugh?  If you say that you can…I say prove it!

Scrat’s nutty pursuit of the cursed acorn, which he’s been after since the dawn of time, has world-changing consequences – a continental cataclysm that triggers the greatest adventure of all for Manny, Diego and Sid. In the wake of these upheavals, Sid reunites with his cantankerous Granny, and the herd encounters a ragtag menagerie of seafaring pirates determined to stop them from returning home.

This film introduces some exciting new characters!  PIRATES!  There was non stop excitement and laughing throughout the movie.  The kids are ready to go see it again!  I am sure this will be a well worn DVD in our home once that get’s released.

The film was in 3-D.  Now, I feel a lot of movies are going 3-D when they really don’t need to be.  This movie works well in 3-D and added some extra excitement to the action.
