I LOVE My Bamboo Graphics Pad!

03.30.2009 by Girl on Fire // 5 Comments

practiceI am totally head over heels in love with my new graphics pad!  I had never used one before, and man was I missing out!

I ordered the Bamboo by Wacom from Amazon.  Free shipping!  I have only used it 2 times so far and honestly….I think with practice I could be really awesome at this!  The things I could do……..

If you have never used one and were wondering which to buy, I would totally recommend this one for starting out.  It is not expensive and works great.  I read all of the reviews on Amazon before purchasing, and as I said I am in love!

I’m sure in time I would like to upgrade to something with a larger drawing surface, but for now this is perfect for me.  I need to learn to control the placement of my fingers while holding the stylus.  I was always told I held my pen/pencil/tattoo machine wonky….this just proves it.  Oh well…I still got the skills!

So far I have drawn my lil Skully girl pictured above and then the Diva graphic on the header featured below. Not too shabby for just two tries!

Yes you can write with it, you can do fine detail photo editing too, much more control than a mouse.
