I Always Get Great Deals

01.18.2010 by Girl on Fire // 2 Comments

moneyI’m not an impulse shopper unless I’m at the thrift store and I find something that is truly unique.  When I am looking to buy something, I shop around for the best deals.  I usually do this online since driving around wasting gas can kill any kind of good deal.  On the internet I can quickly look for the best prices on the items I want. I’m always sure to check the shipping costs as well to ensure it truly is a great deal.

Coupon Codes are the next step in my frugal shopping ways. You can almost always find a coupon code.  Most cases several!  I have saved so much money this way!  I mean you find a great deal, then apply a coupon code on top of that and that is one awesome deal!  Make it a game of sorts, a treasure hunt!

I have used coupon codes for everything!  Car rentals, hotels, flights, ordering delivery, printer ink, even domain names!  So take a look around the net and be sure to look for a coupon code to pile on top of that already great deal!  It’s fun for me and I talk Jeremy’s ear off anytime I get a great deal. I guess I look at it one more way that I can contribute to our family.

I completely agree! Retailmenot is an awesome site for coupon codes. I also love to use cashback sites like ebates and bing. My sister actually calls me now before she buys anything to see if I know of any codes that can save her some money. 🙂

Oooh! I almost forgot . . . lots of online stores also pricematch or even “beat” the price of another site. I use this to buy from more reputable sites at the prices of the ones I haven’t heard of.

wow thats really great information on saving some big bucks. Would like to contribute by mentioning a site that i came across http://www.Aafter.com. Every product on the site comes with a certain percentage of the product price as cash back that AAfter pays back to you if you
order the product through the site. This is in addition to the discount provided by the manufacturer. The percent of cash back, and coupon information are given on the page itself.
