You all know that I love coffee right? I mean it has been discussed many times throughout the years. It is my biggest vice. I love Coffee. All kinds of Coffee. Regular Coffee, Espresso, Blended Coffees, Iced Coffees…you name it and I pretty much consume it.
Some would say I had a problem.
I love going to coffee shops and ordering fancy drinks. I hate spending the money and that is where the problem is. Coffee shops are expensive. So how does a coffee junkie like me save money without giving up the yummy drinks I crave?
Look over yonder at my sidebar and you will see a savings calculator. I have switched my fancy coffee drinking to International Delight Iced Coffees. That calculator shows you how much I have saved since the beginning of March. As I write this I see that I have saved a little over $22! That is just what I would have spent on the drink, if you think about it I have really saved more than that because I do not have to leave my home to get it!
The International Delight Iced Coffees are so rich and creamy! I have been able to try all of them before they were out in the stores. My local Walmart is now carrying them, but so far they only have the Vanilla flavor. There are two other flavors as well…Original and Mocha. Original is my favorite and I hope that they start carrying all of the flavors soon.
I love being able to see how much I am saving and I plan on taking that amount each week and setting it aside. I need to find as many areas in my life as I can to cut back so that I can use that money towards my doctors and prescriptions. I had cut down on my purchases a lot already. I don’t even want to type out what I was typically spending on coffee. I can’t. It was just wrong. So so so wrong! This way I still feel like I have something special. I didn’t have to give up my fancy drinks!
I hope you will follow along on my coffee savings adventure this month! I have vowed to not spend money in the coffee shops! What about you? What are some things you do to save without missing out completely on the special little things that make your day?

With the way gas prices are going, I think they ought to set up a hitching post in front of Walmart and I could ride a horse there. That would save me A LOT of money…hahhha
