What Does Your Home Need Next?

08.23.2018 by Girl on Fire // 1 Comment

You might be wondering how you’d know what your home would ever need next? Well, it’s all down to you! Your home is waiting for you to guide it, and a few wrong moves could easily put you in a position where it’s actually falling apart. Nobody wants that, because a home that’s falling apart just sounds like money that needs to be spent, doesn’t it!? But, we’re sure that you know a few of the basics that your home might need, and what it definitely isn’t going to need. They aren’t all going to see you paying through the nose, and a lot of them are actually so easy to implement in your home and will make such differences if you give them a go. So, here’s what we think your home is going to need next, and how you can make sure that it has it.

A New Vibe

By vibe, we mean something a little different with your decor. Your decor is going to have been the way it has for a while now unless of course, you did a little switch up recently. If not, then a new vibe is coming your way. We love interior design, because all you have to do is change the color of the paint/wallpaper, and the accessories of the room, and you’ve completely transformed it into something new. So, think about the vibe that you’ve got going on at the minute. For some of you, you’ll have gone for the darker vibe, maybe using beige, grey, or even blacks for your living room. The grey-black and white look was all the rage and is still going strong. But, there are new vibes to be had, and we think the lighter and the brighter, the better. For most of us, winter is creeping closer, so the last thing that you want to do is make the room any darker than it is already going to become. A light and airy room gives a happy and open vibe!

A Few Issues Straightened Out

This definitely needs to happen if it hasn’t already. Your home might be riddled with issues that you don’t even know are there, but it is the ones you’re aware of that we want to talk about. If you know you have a blocked drain, why haven’t you got it sorted yet!? A plumber can get it sorted for you so easily, and investigate as to whether there is a problem further along the pipeline. In a lot of cases, it’ll only be something small that needs fixing, and it’ll definitely stop it from turning into something a lot bigger!

Something A Bit More Modern

Of course, your home needs something a bit more modern, and what’s the best way to do that? Through technology. There might be some expensive additions that you can make here, but if you do them one by one, you could completely change the feel of your home. Just getting surround sound speakers in your living room could make a massive difference to your viewing experience, for example!

I’ve always wanted a modern themed house but there are times where I found vintage-themed pieces very adorable. But what’s important for me is maintaining a good vibe at home where we are all living happily and harmoniously.
