For Thanksgiving, Schwan’s sent me some new tasty treats to try.
The Spinach & Mushroom Flatbread Thin Crust Pizza was one of the items they sent. Now I have to be honest, I am not a fan of mushrooms at all. So I picked them off and ate the rest of it. It was ok, not my favorite thing in the world, but I am sure that was because of the mushroom flavor cooked in to it. I did like the flatbread crust though.
Spinach, sliced mushrooms, garlic, onion, REAL Mozzarella, Fontina and Cheddar cheeses with a white sauce on a crispy, flatbread crust
The other thing they sent was one of the best things I have ever tasted! I am being totally honest when I say that. It was the Vanilla Bean Caramel Pretzel Cream Pie. Oh.My.Goodness, was it ever tasty!
Each pie begins with a graham cracker crust followed by a layer of pretzels and caramel, vanilla bean cream injected with more caramel and another layer of vanilla bean cream on top, and finally garnished with chocolate pretzels. Includes a two ounce caramel sauce pouch for drizzling.
I would love to try more of what Schwan’s has to offer. They sent a catalog, so I have a lot to drool over for a future order…
