Now that Softball season is in session I am praying that this weather straightens up!
I will most definitely be monitoring the weather more closely to see whether or not practices and games will be in session.
The weather effects a lot of our activities. For instance, Thursday’s is park day. My kids wait for park day all week. I try to monitor the weather all week leading up to park week so I can prepare them if there is a letdown.
We also have to monitor the weather because of my husbands job. He is in construction and does a lot of remodeling. You really don’t want to tear someones roof off when a storm is coming soon.
There is an awesome new site called AccuWeather. AccuWeather seems to be a lot easier to navigate than some of the other weather sites I have used in the past. Not too, mention it is a lot more pleasant to look at. You can monitor your local by entering your zip code or city and state. The also have a national live feed right on the homepage.
I really like the extra stuff the site offers. Such as a forum, news, radar, health, travel, home & garden as well as outdoor tips.
I think this weather site blows the others I have used away. Check it out!
