Help Travis Mills, an American Hero who was wounded in Afghanistan

05.11.2012 by Girl on Fire // 3 Comments

Travis Mills is from Vassar, Michigan…which happens to be right next to the town I went to highschool in.   In April Travis  stepped on an IED, losing portions of both legs and both arms.  He is only the fourth quadruple amputee, from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, to survive his injuries.

Travis has a wife and a 5 month old daughter.

Right now his friends and family are trying to win him a new wheelchair accesible van.   It’s really so simple to help!  All you need to do is vote!  You can learn more about Travis by visiting TravisMills.org.
