Having Posters Made from Photographs
One of my goals for this year is having posters made of my photographs. I would love to hang a [custom poster] (or two, hmmm…maybe three) in a few local businesses. So I have been checking into poster printing to compare prices.
One place I found called Short Run Posters has some amazing prices. So go ahead and have a look for yourself and let me know what you think. Another idea I have is to have some photobooks made to leave in waiting rooms of local businesses.
I also want to print out some posters of my shots to decorate the bedrooms of my girls. I know Morgan would love to have a poster of Bullet. Bullet was Morgan’s Blue Heeler that had to be put down this last year. What better way to remember him in his glory, then a huge poster print on the wall of her room. I could also do the same thing with her newest dogs, Daisy and Chopper. They were dogs we adopted from the shelter right after Bullet passed.
I really need to get on this goal because it would help my business grow and I could possibly get some sales on my prints. I have some wonderful Texas shots, including a Hawk that I captured in a photo on Christmas Eve. I think that will be one of the shots I have printed. Maybe some gorgeous Blue Bonnet photography as well.
I have some great shots that I have taken with my cell phone. I hope to upgrade to an iPhone this year and I heard that you can even print from iphone for posters as well. It seems that the newest iPhones have an amazing camera quality, which is perfect for when I can not use my DSLR while out and about.
