Are you a college student? Were you a college student? Are you a two time quitter like me? Yes, two times….Sorry Mom!
Recently I have been thinking about school. Not that I need to go to college to do the things I do, but there are some things that I would love to learn to do that could take me up a few levels in a few areas. I’m self taught in everything I do, so I really don’t have answers to technical questions. I just do what works.
If I was to go back to school I would have to do it online. I would need to be available to my children. Who knows when they will get sick or need mom. My schedule is all over the place, there is no way I could attend a regular brick and mortar college. I think that it is a huge plus for moms to be able to earn a degree online. It would benefit work at home moms, work out of the home moms as well as your average stay at home mom. We all have unpredictable schedules with little extra time to spare.
I have a few mom friends that have talked about going back to school and getting a teaching degree. They can do that at MAT@USC. They even offer a tuition reimbursement program. They also are ranked #22 in the United States, and #9 among all private universities by US News and World Report.
If you are interested in earning your degree online, you can go here for program information.
Even though the classes are online you can still have full USC student status and benefits, participation in commencement ceremonies and free lifetime Alumni Association memberships. You also have the opportunity to become part of the elite USC Trojan Family. You can also Earn a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from an internationally renowned research institution.
