Have You Seen The New Lunchables?

08.30.2009 by Girl on Fire // 2 Comments

turkeycheddarsubOscar Mayer Lunchables have a whole new selection of meals that are better for you!  We recently tried out the new Turkey and Cheddar Lunchables.

I have to say that I was extrememly impressed!  These were not the Lunchables that I remember!  This was actually something that I would pack for myself or even the J-man!  A quick on the go lunch for those fast paced morning.

The Turkey and Cheddar Sub Lunchables came with the cutest ever bottle of water.  I know that sounds weird, but it really was cute!  Really, like I even tried to keep the cute little bottles, sadly…the J-man said no to my hoarding behavior.  Oh well, I tried.

It also came with turkey made with 100% turkey breast, Kraft 2% Cheddar and bread made with whole grain to assemble your cute little sub on!  They also come with Tree Top® Applesauce, Mini Nilla Wafers, spring water and Tropical Punch Kool-Aid Singles.

I was full and I didn’t even eat all of mine.  I saved the Tree Top® Applesauce and Mini Nilla Wafers for later.  I think this is a great thing for busy parents.  You don’t always have time to plan out a healthy take with you meal.  Lunchables take care of that for you!

They have several new Lunchables that we want to check out.  I think next time will be the Deep Dish Cheese Pizza Lunchables!  You can find all the nutrition information for Lunchables on their website.

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central on behalf of Oscar Mayer Lunchables and received a sample to facilitate my candid review. In addition, Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.

They had the new Kraft Oscar Mayer Lunchables on sale at our local grocery store a few weeks back, so I pickup a few of the new flavors – Ham + American Sub and Turkey + Chedder Cracker Combos for my Son. He just loves them because he can open them up and fix his lunch all by himself.

Oh and I saved even more money because they happen to have a $1 off manufacturer coupon in the Sunday paper the week before.
