Halloween Fruit Gummies
Author: Isabel De Los Rios
Recipe type: Snack

Kids love these easy to grab gummies and parents can feel good that they only contain all natural ingredients.
Ingredients
  • ⅔ cup of fresh strawberries or blueberries (or a combo of both)
  • ½ cup of water
  • ⅓ cup of unflavored gelatin (I use Great Lakes Gelatin)
  • 1-2 tbsp of raw honey or Organic Maple Syrup (optional, omit to make gummies less sweet)
Instructions
  1. Throw the fresh berries in a blender and add the water until you reach a runny consistency.
  2. Pour the berry mixture into a small saucepan over medium heat and slowly add the gelatin. Stir until all the gelatin is dissolved.
  3. Pour the mixture into a small 8x8 Pyrex pan. Let it sit in the refrigerator for at least an hour before cutting it. Use Halloween cookie cutters to cut out ghosts, monsters and pumpkins.
