Great Wolf Lodge Grapevine Location, Homeschool Week 2011 GIVEAWAY!

I am so excited to share this with my readers!  Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine is hosting a homeschool week from September 11 to 15, 2011! This will be the 2nd annual Homeschool Week at Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, Texas.  Great Wolf Lodge is the largest indoor waterpark resort in Texas!

Homeschoolers can get a special rate starting at $149 per night using the Promo code: 1109HOME

They will also be hosting the following events during Homeschool week:

  • Mobile Noble Planetarium – With only three in the country, we are proud to bring in the extraordinary program, Take Me To The Stars to Great Wolf. Enjoy this beautiful presentation about the night sky. Previews of the program available upon request.
  • Wild Wonders from the Ft. Worth Zoo – This program provides a unique opportunity for families to learn about wildlife and conservation up-close-and-personal.
  • Wolf Walk – Rise and shine for Wolf Walk each morning to explore the animals of the Northwoods. Join Violet the Wolf as she enjoys one of her favorite activities at Great Wolf.
  • Story Time – Wear your most paw-fect pajamas to the Grand Lobby! Nightly Story Time is a great way to end your day of play at the Lodge.
  • Scrap & Craft – Bring your scrapbooking supplies to capture your family memories. Complimentary craft time will be provided the kids.

  3. Excited? What’s not to get excited about with the idea of spending a school day at an indoor water park??? And not having to use sunscreen…bonus! =) Honestly, my family has never been to a water park all together and this would be an awesome experience.

  4. We’re most looking forward to being surrounded by so many other wonderful homeschoolers in a creatively fun, wet and wild atmosphere and learning about the night’s sky from the Mobile Noble Planetarium!

  15. We REALLY REALLY wanna go!!! My boys are MOST excited about playing the game. Sarah wants to go to Scoops Spa! I want to enjoy a night away with the family! We have never gone!!! My kids are also VERY excited about the suites!

  84. Home schooling is really an amazing adventure not to mention can definitely help bring you close with all your youngsters, appreciate it Brandy a lot for discussing your story, it may help to pass on the message so extra loved ones will be able to become much closer!

  86. Would love a mini vacation. Being my first full year homeschooling it would be nice to go to a homeschooling event. My kids would love the water park and the cool rooms.

I’m excited to get to know you through this very cool blog, and I hope to win and meet you at Home school week at Great wolf Lodge!   127. We are most excited about being wet and spending the night! Our kiddos love swimming, and they love hotels!

  130. One of the things we are most excited about is the Mobile Noble Planetarium. Some of my children LOVE astronomy and this would give them a chance to explore the planets without leaving all the other fun behind…..

  132. Do you know if the “events” will be available to attend if you are not staying overnight there? Is there a fee we can pay to see the planetarium and zoo exhibits if we don’t have a room for the night?
