I use GoDaddy for all of my domain name purchases. The customer service has been fantastic and that is what has kept me with them for all of these years.
Right now I am in the process of using their domain selling/buying service. It’s been pretty effortless on my part since GoDaddy has handled everything! A buyer contacts GoDaddy and tells them they want to purchase one of my domains and they make an offer. GoDaddy then contacts me and lets me know about the offer. In my case the offer was too low, so I made a counter offer. They did not accept my counter offer, but raised their offer to a price that I was happy with. They work with an escrow service so I know that everything is safe.
The sale is still in progress, but I just had to rave about GoDaddy again!

Ok…so I must ask – did you have a premium listing or pay for the featured listing? How long did it take to get an offer? I’ve been listed for approx 60 days and I haven’t had one hit and my domain ranks! I can’t brag about godaddy just yet. It seems like there is one “upgrade” to spend more money after another.
Honestly I didn’t have it listed for sale. Someone must have wanted that name and then chose to offer to buy it. The transfer took place today and the payment is waiting in escrow to be wired into my account. I’m pretty happy 🙂
