I don’t know about you, but we always use Glad at our house. This is one area that I do not skimp on. Sure, in the past I have tried other bags…always a huge fail with a lot of heartache caused by nasty messes!
I love the Glad ForceFlex Tall Kitchen bags for use in our home and the Glad Black Bags for heavier duty clean ups. Like for using in the garage or for yard work. I love that I do not have to worry about it tearing while using for normal use. That makes my life a lot easier! It’s nice to know that Glad will do the job!
Glad® Black Bag is encouraging moms to celebrate life’s wild moments. Life can get wild and messes happen when we’re having fun. You never know when, but you know they will. And that’s okay, because cleaning up these staggering messes isn’t so bad anymore.
Speaking of Glad Black Bags, have you heard about the Glad Black Bag Recycled Art Auction? 100% of the final sale price from the art auction is going to Keep America Beautiful!
Keep America Beautiful combines education with hands-on stewardship to make communities cleaner, greener, and more livable. Through a nationwide network of over 1,000 affiliated grassroots organizations and participants, and a force of nearly 3 million volunteers, Keep America Beautiful engages individuals to take greater responsibility for improving their community environments.
Keeping with the theme “trash to treasure,” Glad Black Bag is working with Keep America Beautiful’s Great American Cleanups across the country to collect items that will be used by a mosaic artist to turn them into works of art. Four pieces of art will be auctioned off during the Glad Black Bag art auction on eBay for consumers to bid on, with proceeds benefiting Keep America Beautiful’s Great America Cleanup events. To learn more about Keep America Beautiful or to find a Great American Cleanup near you, visit www.kab.org.
The art featured in the auction is by famous mosaic artist Jason Mecier. He is a VERY talented artist! Just check this out…if only I could afford it…
Isn’t that fantastic?
Glad Black Bag Art Auction is in partnership with famous mosaic artist, Jason Mecier, the Picker Sisters and Keep America Beautiful.
The Picker Sisters have built their business on the belief that one person’s trash is another person’s treasure. Along the way, they discovered that some of the best finds are the “remnants” of life’s wild moments. Things that are created for or broken in our biggest celebrations can be repurposed in new ways that honor the memory, but create great style.
What is your favorite recycled art project? Or maybe you have a favorite recycled material you use when crafting with your kids? Ours is cardboard. We get a lot of packages and we are sure to reuse the boxes to ship, pack and create!
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Glad Black Bag and received a Glad Black Bag product and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate. I was also asked to “pin” one (1) Glad Black Bag Art Auction photo on Pinterest.
