It seems the holiday season has already started. There are so many advertisements and product displays everywhere. I mainly do my shopping and browsing online, but I still see hundreds of offers and ideas on the internet too. The best thing about this time of year is it encourages you to seek out the weird and the wonderful for gift ideas. This year is no different. I’ve found some great ideas to share with you:
Jewelry
Jewelry is one of the most popular solutions to gift problems for loved ones. Whether it’s for your husband or wife, something beautiful that can be treasured is a wonderful way to say ‘I love you’ for any occasion. We do have one rule in our house, though. It needs to be practical and not left in the jewelry box. That’s why Shinola watches can be ideal. Any watch that is good looking and perfect for everyday use will be ideal for me.
Personal
Personalized gifts go a long way to making the relative who has everything happy. When something is customized just for them, it’s more likely to be appreciated. It shows some thought has gone into the gift, and you’ve taken the time just for them. It doesn’t need to be expensive either. It might just be a cute photo in a frame. Or it could be something luxurious like a monogrammed dressing gown. I love mine!

Useful
There are so many novelty gifts out there that are just plain silly. Think about all that cheap chocolate packaged up in silly shapes! But there are also a lot of innovative and clever items out there that make good gifts for the right people too. Think about all those kitchen gadgets you wish you had to make life a little easier. Automatic can openers, hand blenders, and bread makers are all on my watch list right now.
Toys With Benefits
With so many popular TV and movie characters adorning merchandise, it can be tricky to pick out the best gift for your little ones. I always look for something that will be useful to them, like the Worry Eater. Any soft toy that can quickly and easily alleviate a child’s fear has to make an awesome gift from Santa. I like the little fitness watches for children. All the games and activities are mindful of good health and fitness.
Indulgent
I’m well aware of the need for everyone to take a time out once in awhile. Can’t stretch to a spa day for your loved one? Grab a hamper and pop some bath fizzers, oils, candles, and bubbles inside. Then book out the bathroom for their exclusive use. I love putting bits and pieces together to create my own bespoke gifts. It often works out cheaper too, and it’s more appreciated.
Putting together some ideas for a gift this season doesn’t need to tax the brain. But with all the adverts out there you can be forgiven for feeling a little overloaded! Keep it simple, with the recipient in mind. Happy shopping.
