Genghis Khan is coming to Texas! No, don’t freak, stay calm. What I mean is the Genghis Khan Exhibit is coming to Texas! The Irving Arts Center is hosting the Genghis Khan Exhibit starting June 1st until September 30th.
What a great way to bring some history into reality for yourself and family. It’s so much more exciting to see things in person, than on the pages of a book or on the internet. To be in the same room with pieces of the past.
This is a great thing for supplementing your child’s education. As homeschoolers we look for these opportunities to make learning fun.
In this exhibit, the story of Genghis Khan is told. Using an interactive world-tour exhibition. Genghis Khan: The Exhibition follows the life of Genghis Khan from being a poor, illiterate child and onto be one of the world’s greatest conquerors.
The Irving Arts Center will be the temporary home to more than 200 artifacts during the exhibits stay there. Artifacts including gold jewelry, weaponry, silk robes, currency, tomb treasures and more! There will also be video-screens, hands-on activity stations and role-playing kiosks. Imagine how cool that must be! What a great experience for all ages. Talk about making learning history fun!
