Fun Creative Activities and Toys for Kids!

06.18.2010 by Girl on Fire // 3 Comments

I’m always on the lookout for hands on activities for the kids.  I was thrilled when I seen the awesome things at the Creative Toy Shop!

First of all, it is a craft and a toy!  What makes it even better?  They are made from mostly recycled material, and 100% bio-degradable, Calafant toys are a very earth-friendly choice.

They have over 20 different models available! My girls got a Dollhouse.  They also have Castles, Treehouses, Pirate Fortresses, Fire Engines, Race cars…and much much more!

It was a great activity for my girls.  Now the little ones could not have assembled it without help, but Morgan was able to put it all together just fine with no help from me.  After it was together the little ones joined in on the decorating of their very own doll house.  They were so excited that they made it!

Here is a shot of the front of the dollhouse

And here you can see the girls decorating it

This is something we would most definitely enjoy doing again!  You can buy your own by visiting www.creativetoyshop.com.  You can also save 25% off all the Calafant toys that you order (excluded are the items that are already on sale and the Birthday Pack) by using the code NSAM at checkout.  Plus, if you sign up for their newsletter, you’ll get a separate coupon for FREE SHIPPING.

Starting Over, Each Season Brings the Opportunity

We all go through seasons in our lifetime.  Some good, some bad.  But the thing about seasons is that they change.  Each season brings the opportunity for starting over.
