Have you ever saw Hollywood Blvd covered in snow? This past Tuesday, that is exactly what I experienced at the El Capitan Theatre! What a fantastic sight! Instead of a Red Carpet for Disney’s new movie Frozen, there was a surreal scene of snow and ice, for a beautiful White Carpet entrance to the premiere!

Before heading over to the Snowy White Carpet, we stopped for a group photo on the Oscar steps. If you ever want to feel famous, dress up, pose here and have someone get a camera and take your photos…then they will appear. Tourists that think oh wow, I don’t know who they are, but they must be famous. First there was one, then two and it multiplied. I was laughing so hard and was so thankful that I had my camera out and ready to snap right back at them!

The excitement of walking the Red Carpet (or this case, white snow carpet) is crazy! Hustle hustle…keep moving! I was actually going to get a photo taken this year on the carpet…but we had to move too fast and I wanted to snap some of my friends. This is Meredith, a new friend that I met on this trip. Doesn’t she look great? Yea, I know her arm is blurry…no time for another shot…move along, move along….
Ghirardelli had a Hot Chocolate stand along the way in to the El Capitan. I would have grabbed one, but just knew I would be the one to spill it all over me and fall in the snow.
Speaking of Ghirardelli, they opened a Ghirardelli Soda Shop right next to the El Capitan Theatre. We were treated to Hot Fudge Sundaes there the night before the premiere. Oh. My. WOW. I highly recommend you stop in if there is ever one near where you are!
Once inside we were given popcorn and a drink and directed to our seats. I was in the second row and seated in front of me where these young stars…
Beside me enjoying his popcorn with his beautiful wife and children was Matthew Lillard…you know, Shaggy!
Once the lights went off and the movie began….snow started gently falling inside the El Capitan Theatre…it was magical. The movie was fantastic and I can not wait to take my children to see it. I highly recommend it as a movie for you and your family as well. It is a different kind of Disney princess movie and I just know you will love it as much as I did. I will have a review of the movie posted soon.

Here are some shots from the White Carpet courtesy of Disney…

After the movie it was time to head over to The Annex for the after party!
The after party was filled with people! There were activities like snow globe making and more. There were also princesses posing for photos…
Oh…and beautiful women carving ice sculptures!
I didn’t spend a lot of time at the after party, but that is a different story for a different time. The whole night was a magical experience that I will never forget. Disney’s FROZEN releases in theaters next week, the day before Thanksgiving on November 27th.
I have a lot more to tell you about the trip. It was only 3 days, but 3 jam packed days! I have interviews with actors, actresses, animators, directors and more! To find more about this wonderful trip from myself and other bloggers, please check the hashtag #DisneyFrozenEvent on all of your social media sites.
