Free Introduction to Basic Computer Programming

03.02.2010 by Girl on Fire // Leave a Comment

Pretty much everyone needs to know how to use a computer to succeed these days.  You use them at home to communicate, for your business, for school, etc.

Children start using computers at a younger age and are learning at an amazing pace.

I have been introduced to a free program for helping children learn basic computer programming.  Perfect for expanding on what they may or may not learn in school or to use as part of your homeschool curriculum.

Alice is a free (open source) 3D programming environment! This is a great way to add in some computer science.

Drag and drop capabilities and animation.  Tons of fun for any child interested in animation and computer programming.  Click here to learn more and get it for free!
