Focusing on Classroom Needs in School and Homeschool

02.21.2013 by Girl on Fire // 2 Comments

As homeschoolers we love some of the regular teacher gadgets and classroom set ups.  You can visit www.edusentials.co.uk for all your school supplies needs.  You can get some wonderful ideas just browsing the products.

Homeschooling requires us to be creative with our space.  Some of the classroom tools and set-ups can help you to make better use of space.  Like the wall mounted drying racks for instance.  Right now we use the kitchen table and chairs.  This is not a very good use of space for us and the wall mounted drying racks would really make a difference since my girls can paint 20 pictures in one day of painting.A1162_(20_shelf_wall_mounted)

Having something like this would free up the table and chairs for more logical things like dinner.  I bet it could even be mounted in a closet.

They also have a 12 Tray Extra Deep Storage Unit that would be amazing for storing and sorting all of our supplies.  We could set up theme based bins.  With theme based bins the girls could just place everything that has to do with a project in one of the drawers.  Then as we change projects we could just change out the contents of the drawers.MEQ3112_CLEAR_CASTORS

I don’t homeschool, but I still would love these for all my crafts! I’m in the process of remodeling the upstairs bedroom for my office and will keep these in mind when I get ready to shop.

I thought you might be interested in this web site as a Christian homeschool parent. There are some very interesting and unique concepts for bible based parenting that made a huge difference for me. The Happy Face Token System was developed as a frustrated mother prayed for inspiration to save her desperate home situation and the story of the Garden of Eden opened up a whole new concept.
