Sometimes I think about having a small wedding ceremony with Jeremy. You know, something our kids could participate in. See, Jeremy and I live as married, we are what is called common law married here in Texas. Personally I don’t think the government has any right to be involved in our marriage. So, a small celebration to recognize our union would be a bit fun. I could get a bit fancy by wearing a dress maybe? Have a pot luck style meal and flowers! What if Flowers For Everyone sent the flowers over? That would be so great!
We really wouldn’t need a lot of flowers, maybe something for me to hold and some for the girls? Then we could take those flowers and set them on display after the short ceremony. I really think something like this would be great…
Beautiful right? I love the pops of color in this arrangement. But I like this one as well…
Or maybe something a bit more simple, like this…
Which would you choose for a simple outdoor ceremony? Remember, I’m not a fancy girl, I’m more of a outdoorsy country girl.
Maybe we could plan something for our anniversary? Our anniversary being the date that we finally became a couple nearly 13 years ago! Wow, that is a long time!! 13 years! Ha, maybe we could even get a family portrait made as well, we have never done that! With me being a photographer, I am always behind the camera. I think that needs to be changed in a hurry! Just one awesome photo of the 5 of us all together, maybe even throw in the critters? That would be a sight to see, 5 humans, 4 dogs, 1 cat and about 40 chickens? Hahaha, yes…we have to do this!
Now to pick a date? Maybe spring? Since we live in Texas and it would be outdoors, we really do not want it to be in the summer! It get’s way to hot for all of that. We have the room on our land to hold it here. I guess it’s time to start brainstorming and planning!
