Flashback 80’s Party #Brandcation

10.23.2012 by Girl on Fire // 1 Comment

The 80’s was my most favorite time ever. The punk scene was real, the music rocked! When I found out we were having an 80’s party at Brandcation and that dressing up was part of the deal, all I could think of was how I still dress the same as the 80’s minus the fishnets and shorts!

So, I packed my Misfits shirt, my docs, ragged jean shorts and of course….brand spanking new fishnets. The ladies joked about how I “looked so different than usual” hahaha, I looked the exact same. I’m not a creature of change, I haven’t adapted to the fads of today. I am comfortable with who I am and will always be. I remain a product of the 80’s…

Check out Candie rocking her 80’s!

There were loads of 80’s popular candies, snacks and drinks….heck, I even saw a bottle of Boones Farm floating around. We were only missing the Mad Dog 20/20 and a bottle of NyQuil.

There were glow sticks, glow earrings, glowing bracelets. If only we could have added a skating rink…that would have ruled!

There were homemade pizzas made on Flatout Bread that were pretty fantastic…there was singing, there was dancing. There was a ton of fun going on.

Many thanks to Flashing Blinking Lights for sponsoring our 80?s party at Brandcation – Blog Cabin!

This trip was hosted hosted by Brandfluential.
