Excited! Iron Man 3 Begins Production!

Iron Man and Batman are my all time favorite super heroes.  I am so excited about Iron Man 3!  Marvel Studios is preparing for film release on May 3, 2013!

The film will be directed by Shane Black and has commenced production in Wilmington, North Carolina. Other locations include Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina, Miami, Florida and China.  Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Executive producers on the project include Jon Favreau, Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Charles Newirth, Victoria Alonso, Stephen Broussard and Dan Mintz.

“Iron Man 3” will be the second (Marvel) feature to be fully owned, marketed and distributed by Disney!  You only need to look at what Disney did with “Marvel’s The Avengers” to know what that means!  “Marvel’s The Avengers” set the all-time, domestic 3-day weekend box office record at $207.4 million.  It is The Walt Disney Studios’ highest-grossing global and domestic release of all time and marks the studios’ fifth film to gross more than $1 billion worldwide.

EEEK!  I am soooo excited!
