Elevate Oral Care for Kids #Giveaway

06.26.2013 by Girl on Fire // 36 Comments

Finally, a children’s toothpaste that delivers an accurate dose for brushing.  Elevate Oral Care for Kids has stepped it up with a pump that only puts out what is needed.  Currently they are the only toothpaste product that delivers a pea-sized dose (0.25 gram) of toothpaste.  This is exactly what the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) recommends.

Even I use to much toothpaste and I was not giving my kids the proper amount either.  I would just squeeze it on and that was that.  It was something I didn’t even think about and I am sure my mom probably never really thought about it either.  I think it is safe to say that most parents are making the same mistake and our kids surely are as well.Toothpaste-pea-size-pkg

I was sent a Just Right toothpaste kit to check out with the kids.   A Just Right toothpaste kit will provide your child with 6 months of toothpaste and also comes with two brushes with child sized heads and adult sized handles.  Toothbrushes should be changed out every 3 months.    If you are looking to save money, then you will love this.  The kits sell for $11.95 plus shipping.  That equals out to about $2 per month for oral hygiene (including brushes).  If you think about it, you probably buy a tube of toothpaste every 1.5-2 months.  Accurate dosing saves you money by having less waste!

My kids loved the pump and enjoyed using it to brush their teeth.  They thought it was cool and much easier than a tube of toothpaste.  This is something we would purchase again.

I think this is a brilliant idea and can not believe there wasn’t a product out there like this sooner!  Was a kit of your own?  Check out the giveaway!

The Giveaway!

24 Not So Average Mama readers will each win their very own Just Right toothpaste kit!

This giveaway will end on July 15th, 2013!

I think it’s a neat idea. Plus, I like that it’s berry flavored. Most kids toothpastes are bubble gum flavor, and I think the kids get tired of it.

I like how it dispenses just the right amount of toothpaste needed for a child’s toothbrush and takes the guesswork out of how much they should use.
