I told you all recently how I was participating in another Champions for Kids SIMPLE Service Project. This one was about oral care and Spinbrushes from Arm & Hammer.
Emma and I went to Walmart to pick up something that we could donate. You can view our shopping trip on my Google+. The selection is pretty big. I had no idea there were so many different kinds of Spinbrushes!
The first thing I notice about someone is their smile. I know that dental care is so important. My teeth are ruined. It’s embarrassing. I can only imagine what it would be like for a child that needed dental care. Hopefully by donating tools for oral care, we can help some kids out.
I chose to donate to a local church here that hosts the community food bank. They also help with toiletries as well as personal care. Thing is, I haven’t actually made my donation. I was busy all week and planned to go today. That was until I remembered that they are only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So we will be dropping off our donation on Tuesday when they reopen.
I thought the GloBrush Spinbrush was the perfect one to donate. I am hoping that it would go to a young teenager. I will be donating this along with some regular toothbrushes for adults and children and a bunch of toothpaste. We also have some food that we will be adding in to our donation.
I am loving my Pro Sensitive Spinbrush! I love how small it is, makes it a lot easier for me to use. I plan on going back and picking up the GloBrushes for all the girls. They think the one we got to donate is pretty awesome. I also would like to pick up the Pro Clean Sonic Recharge as well.
You can learn more about these toothbrushes by liking the Sprinbrush/Arm&Hammer Facebook page as well as following them on Twitter @sprinbrush. I hope you will follow along with #SpinbrushCFK.
**Update! The girls have the Chicken Pox, so we went today while the food bank was closed and made our donation. There was an adult on site and he had never had the chicken pox, so he had us leave the box outside the door. This church does so much for the community, they even have a daycare. They assist families with food, personal care and even help with bills. Here are some photos of my girls making their donation. You can tell that they don’t feel very well, they didn’t want to leave the house…poor girls.
