Dollywood, Pigeon Forge Fun for the Whole Family! #Brandcation

10.16.2012 by Girl on Fire // 1 Comment

I would have to say that Dollywood was my favorite part of the trip.  I could have spent every day there and been totally content and happy.  There is so much to experience and explore there.  I can not wait to return with my family.  I know they would all love it.  I didn’t even ride any rides!  I just spent the day exploring the shops and taking in the sites.  It was amazing to see artists at work right there in their shops.  I have a feeling I need to break this up in to several posts so that I don’t overwhelm you with one long photo filled post.

In this post I would just like to tell you a little bit about Dollywood…

For one thing, Dollywood has huge pastries…
Giant pastries
Dollywood has Roller Coasters!  This is the newest addition called the Wild Eagle.  The Discovery Channel was filming while we were there and some of my friends got to get in on that.  I am excited to see their coaster faces on television haha!  Now I did not partake in any roller coaster riding.  I was afraid it would hurt my body too much to carry on through the rest of the event.  I sure would have loved to have ridden this one though!  It looked fantastic!

Dollywood has amazing hand crafters and artists!  You get to watch them working in their shops!

Dollywood is truly a place for the entire family.  From the young to the old, there is something for everyone to enjoy!  Every person that worked there was brimming over with southern charm and hospitality!  They all seemed so happy to be there and loved their jobs.  I will definitely be going back there soon with my family.  I know they will have a blast!

Keep your eyes open for most posts on my time at Dollywood!
