Doctor on Demand #FeelBetter #IC (ad) Free Coupon Code and Review

03.06.2015 by Girl on Fire // Leave a Comment

Doctor on Demand

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Doctor On Demand. I received a free trial coupon code to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

Being sick is not fun for anyone, but add in a chronic disease and just a simple visit can take a toll worse than normal. For instance, I have RSD, known these days as CRPS. This makes everyday functioning very hard, especially so when I am sick

Doctor on Demand

Doctor on Demand is a great tool for everyone. When you’re sick you don’t want to get out around others or even leave the comfort of your bed. Not too mention the money that an ER visit can cost! With Doctor on Demand you can connect with a doctor and be diagnosed through video chat.

I love that a visit for medical and pediatrics is only $40. Using video and photographs and asking the right questions, a doctor can diagnose and treat you without you ever leaving your home.

You can even meet with a psychologist for $50 at home on your own couch. I can see how this could be extremely useful for people to be comfortable. Doctor on Demand also has lactation consultants.

The app is free and can be used on your smartphone, tablet and even from your desktop computer. I set my app up through my iPad. Your first visit is free by using this coupon code set up for my readers: AVERAGE15.

After installing the app, you’ll be asked some questions just like at a regular visit. You’ll also have to enter a credit card into the payment information, and under that you will see a place to add the coupon code. You can choose an available appointment window and then simply wait for your visit. My appointment window was from 12:45-1pm. The doctor connected at 12:46…that is pretty awesome.

You can add favorite doctors that you would like to see again to your app so that you can choose to use them in the future. I really can’t imagine anything more simple!

I really think this is exciting. I’m not one that likes to go to the doctor. I get anxious easily and this is so much easier on me. I hope one day that chronic conditions, such as RSD, can be treated this way as well. I would love to be able to meet with my neurologist this way.

I also think this is a great way to avoid getting exposed to other illnesses. I don’t know about you, but anytime I have had to have the girls checked out, they always seemed to pick up a little something from the waiting room too. I love being able to avoid that, save time and save money.

I hope you’ll take advantage of your free visit by using the coupon code listed above. Let me know what you think of this convenient service. I know I’ll be using it again!
