Dannon’s Give Hope With Every Cup campaign!

10.29.2010 by Girl on Fire // 1 Comment

We all know that October is Breast Cancer awareness month.  A lot of products will show support by giving back and adding the color pink to products and packaging to help raise more awareness.

Dannon is one of those brands.  They actually have quite an involvement!  They not only raise money, but they also help increase awareness about breast cancer. Did you know that it affects more than 290,000 women every year?

Dannon pledges to donate at least $500,000 dollars to the National Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation, but they are trying to increase that donation to $1.5 million dollars this year!

In order for this to work they need your help too!  Under each specially-marked Dannon product is a code.  Ten cents will be donated per code to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. ® (NBCF).  Just enter the code at www.cupsofhope.com by November 30th, 2010!

How do they use this money?

The money is used to provide women free mammograms and support breast cancer research nationwide.

This is such an easy way to help!  We go through yogurt like mad in this house..it just takes a few moments to enter your codes and help raise money to help!  Cancer totally sucks, any kind of cancer…even the fear of having cancer sucks…

On a side note about cancer….my dad just had his 70th birthday and is still cancer free.  Some of you know about his battle with cancer last year and part of this year.  He kicked it’s bootie!

Take a few moments and help!

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Dannon. In addition, I received a gift certificate and products to thank me for taking the time to participate.

    ATTENTION!! ATTENTION!! ATTENTION!!

To those who are trying to enter the Dannon codes but are having issues with the Dannon site and not finding a place to enter the codes.

You can still post your Dannon codes, but it’s not from a direct link to their site, it’s from a “cached” address of their site. Meaning, what they had on the site before taking out the place where you could enter the codes (hidden or previous stored data). Not sure why they took them out, but non the less, the ‘cached page’ works great.

My suggestion would be, as I did, to select the product from the drop down box, then enter your code, then enter your email, and instead of having to enter your email each and every time manually, copy your email then paste it in the entry box to save time.

When it takes you back to the Dannon site where you don’t see where you can enter anything, the ‘non cached’ page, simply hit the back key or button and it should take you to the ‘cached page’ again where you can continue entering the codes you have.

    I had 22 codes I entered…woohoo!! ;p

Here is the link to enter your codes: http://tinyurl.com/28d5ojs

Thanks to you and Dannon, we can do something to help fight breast cancer!

God bless everyone, and have a safe and happy holiday season!
