Culturelle for Kids

03.14.2011 by Girl on Fire // Leave a Comment

I’ve been using probiotics for years.  Mainly introducing it during illness or the use of antibiotics.  I’ve never used it on a consistent basis though because we haven’t needed to.

Recently I was sent Culturelle for Kids to test out here at home.  All of my kids have amazing immune systems and rarely get ill with more than a cold or sometimes a stomach bug if it happens to be going around.  I owe those super immune systems to extended breast feeding.  Right now though it seems like everything is going around.  Everywhere I turn someone is sick with something like RSV, Strep Throat, Colds, the Flu, Stomach Virus, etc.  I want to just put the house on lock down and tell everyone to keep the heck back!

Either my kids immune systems are even better than I thought, or this stuff is totally doing it’s job!  The girls took the Culturelle for Kids for a week straight.  We were exposed to pretty much everything listed above.  No one got seriously sick other than slight fever (fighting off the funk), a mild cough and mild upset stomach.  I can’t say for sure that it was the Culturelle, but it is a pretty big coincidence that the children had a mild response to the illness they picked up.

I seen grown men stuck in a bed from one of the virus’s going around.  I don’t do “sick”.  Kick it in the rear before it even hits home!

Pro-bi-o-tic. The word literally means “for life.” And adding a probiotic like Culturelle to your daily diet can be a great way to achieve and maintain optimal core health – a healthy digestive and immune system.

Just one Culturelle capsule daily helps support your body in the following ways:

  • Promotes good digestion
  • Maintains regularity
  • Supports your immune system
  • Helps to return you to optimal health

Culturelle for Kids is 100% Dairy and Gluten free! I know that is a big concern for a lot of parents.  I’m running into more and more people who have children with that sensitivity, so I know that is a huge plus!

Culturelle for Kids contains Lactobacillus GG, one of the most clinically studied probiotic, or “good bacteria”, in the world. The good bacteria safely and naturally displace the bad bacteria, supporting kids’ natural defense systems, and reducing digestive upset.

Culturelle is the probiotic that pediatrician’s recommend most. It has been studied for safety in children of all ages including infants and is proven safe.

Give Culturelle a try yourself and let this good bacteria kick the bad bacterias bootie in a serious way.

How to use Culturelle for Kids:

To use, simply empty entire contents of 1 packet into cool food or drink. Culturelle is completely tasteless and odorless.

When children reach 100 pounds, or if they have “tummy troubles”, consider switching to the adult Culturelle for the same immune and digestive benefits.

You can print a coupon for$1.00 off Culturelle.  Also, if you want to share Culturelle for Kids with friends you can get a $3.00 off coupon!

I wrote this review while participating in a Mom Central Consulting blog tour on behalf of Culturelle. I received a Culturelle for Kids product sample and a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.

I’m Sick, Poor Poor Me…

I’m MIA, I’m sorry.  I have been really sick.  I thought maybe it was a stomach virus, but now I am beginning to think it was caused by this nasty restaurant we decided to try out.  UGH.  I’m scared to try new places and this is exactly why.  I knew that it was gonna happen.  […]
