Cranium Scribblish Review and Giveaway

The girls and I love to draw, so when I was approached about reviewing a game called Cranium Scribblish by Hasbro I was very interested.

You pretty much need atleast 4 people to play the game properly.  You do not have to have any real skill in drawing to play this.  What you do is choose a card, on the card will be a few different captions.   Choose one of the captions on the card and draw it the best you can in 45 seconds or less.

Your paper is in this cool little scrolling holder and you can roll it inside so that the caption is covered up.  You then pass it on to another person and all they can see is your drawing.  Then that person writes their own caption for what they think is going on in your drawing.  This goes on until all the squares on the paper are filled.

It was super funny to see how the drawings and captions changed a long the way.  I was cracking up at Lauren’s interpretations of the captions.  We played as a team together since it is hard for me to write and draw right now.  I talked the caption over with her in private and she did all the drawing.  The girls were cracking up laughing and Morgan can not wait to use it at her next sleepover.  I think this is a great game for young teens and adults.  The box suggests ages 8 and up.

    My family loves just about any game! One of our favorites is something called “Dig,” which my cousin introduced to us years ago. I guess it’s sort of like that game Bananagrams, but I’ve never played that. Dig is played with Scrabble tiles, but everyone plays their own little Scrabble and the game is fast paced. You keep score based on the points on the tiles. When one person uses all their tiles, they say “dig!” and everyone draws another tile.

    My children and I used to have game night once a week. We are busy, but we still play games. Scrabble and Monopoly are the two favorites.

    we love all kinds of games gold fish to scrabble and charades. Anything to have fun together. This looks like a game we would enjoy.
