Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy, Review and Giveaway! #HEBBEAUTY

05.24.2012 by Girl on Fire // 52 Comments

My friends, it is time for another H-E-B Beauty Blogger review and giveaway!  This months Beauty Pick is Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy.  This is a Total Care Nourishing Shampoo & Conditioner that gently cleanses & nourishes both your scalp and your hair.

Morgan was the right choice for trying this product.  She goes through phases where she will get a bit of itchy scalp and dandruff.  I really don’t seem to have that problem, just occasionally in the winter.

This is clinically proven to help restore the scalp’s natural moisture balance.  This helps create the right foundation for strong, beautiful hair from root tip.  It is formulated with Nutrium 10, an advanced moisture complex of vitamins and nutrients, including vitamins B5, C & E, sunflower, almond, soybean & coconut oils & aloe vera.

Just as good soil is to a tree, a well nourished scalp is the right foundation for strong, beautiful hair. For years women have been treating the wrong end of their hair. CLEAR SCALP & HAIR BEAUTY THERAPY™ made with Nutrium 10™ nourishes the scalp, creating the right foundation for strong*, beautiful hair.

Morgan has enjoyed using the product.  The timing on it was perfect as she was just complaining of dryness.  She has liked it a lot more than other shampoos and conditioners that are meant for the same purpose.  She especially loves that it doesn’t smell like medicine.

The bottles are small and that has helped encourage her to use less of the products.  A little dab’ll do ya!  She is still on the first bottle of shampoo, so that’s great.  I think when we have ginormous shampoo bottles we use more product without even thinking about it!  She has actually only been using it a few times per week.  I think daily use would be overkill and she is getting great results, so this is what works for her right now.  I would love to revisit this product in the winter to see how it works for me as well.

You can purchase Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy at H-E-B.  Be sure to grab this coupon and save $2.00 off New Clear Haircare 7 Day Starter Kit!

Jen Atkin knows that great-looking hair starts with the right foundation.  As part of the CLEAR SCALP &  HAIR BEAUTY THERAPY™ team she believes in a well-nourished scalp.

JEN’S PHILOSOPHY

FEED SCALP

  • It’s simple, feed scalp first – it’s the right foundation for strong, beautiful hair.

NOURISH THE FOUNDATION FOR STYLE

  • Building the right foundation for strong, beautiful hair is essential for creating the perfect style. Making one small change in the way you care for your hair, such as focusing on the root as opposed to the ends, can give you so many more possibilities for great style. 99% of hair’s natural strength and beauty comes from the scalp, so it’s essential to feed scalp.

MAKE IT EASY

  • I recommend a regimen that is something my clients can get easily, and will really help them get the nourished, gorgeous hair they’re craving. CLEAR SCALP & HAIR BEAUTY THERAPY™ is easy and accessible but most of all – effective.

SEE RESULTS IN 7 DAYS

  • CLEAR SCALP & HAIR BEAUTY THERAPY™ is a breakthrough approach to care for hair that feeds scalp and gives women stronger more beautiful hair in just 7 days.

The Giveaway!

Two readers will win a Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy set!

This Giveaway will end June 7th, 2012!

I received the products mentioned above to facilitate this review. No compensation was received and all opinions are my own.

I use a shampoo and conditioner for fine hair, then a “roots lifter” for styling. Unfortunately, I’ve reached an age where my hair is becoming more and moe fragile and easily damaged.

I use a shampoo and conditioner for fine, damaged hair, then I use a oil moisturizer or hair lotion which smoothes out my split ends helps in blow drying my hair.

I use coconut oil on my scalp… It’s hard to wash out though! (I use a moisturizing shampoo, and a clarifying once a week)… In the last year, my scalp has been so dry and itchy, so I thought I should use something else besides dandruff shampoo that works temporarily, but doesn’t solve the problem…. I bought the Shea Scalp Oil, and I don’t know really how to use it… no instructions (other than “put on scalp”.. duh). Do you wash it out? Umm yes, because it’s like the coconut oil, it’s oily. So I leave it on for an hour (or overnight), then wash it out. I have only used it twice… So we shall see…. My real goal is to make my scalp healthier so my hair will grow… It seems my hair growth has either stopped, or I can’t see the difference… (I’m looking for “mermaid length”..hehe..) I’m sure it’s still growing, but at this length, (halfway down back) I can’t see it! I’m hoping this will help!! And once I achieve this amazing length for a costume in October, I shall give the hair to Locks of Love… As much as I’m loving this long hair, it is quite hard to make it look professional without using heat…. So….. I’ll report in a month what my results are… I’ll be getting the shampoo and conditioner soon too….. maybe I’ll win! 🙂 maybe not, but we can always hope!

One more thing! I just found out that the Shea line works on African American hair… Cool… if I were! (I love that hair!) …. But I think it will be okay…. my scalp is so dry that I need extra… So just f.y.i. to you all….

PS… What a cute little pic that is the icon by my name… One Eyed Green Egg with Legs doing the “Walk Like an Egyptian”! And the Fro! Nice….

Ive been using Garnier shampoo and conditioner for the past few months and its been great. I’ve had dry scalp issues in the past where I used an organic (more oily) shampoo & cond. and it stopped the itching and dryness.
