When it comes to eating out with Jeremy or friends, I choose to go to Chili’s. Our Chili’s is right next to the theater that we always go to, so movie night means Chili’s night!
I normally order the Buffalo Chicken Salad, which is so indescribably delicious! Seriously, I crave that salad like crazy. My friend Jenny and I usually order that and split it alopng with something else, something like the Skillet Que-so…another marvelously yummy menu item. Oh and the salsa is so good!
On a recent trip to Chili’s I only ordered off the new Wild or Mild menu. It was so hard to choose what to order since it all looked so good!
I decided on a tried and true favorite of Skillet Queso with Chips and Salsa to get started. I always get nervous about ordering things I have never had…I mean what if I don’t like it? How disappointing to go out to dinner and not like what you order…
So of course the Skillet Queso was delicious as usual so I was comfortable ordering something new. I kind of wished I had ordered the new Kicked-Up Queso, but Jeremy was with me and he doesn’t like really spicy food.
For my meal I ordered the Crispy Honey-Chipotle Chicken Crispers. YUM! I was so surprised by the flavor these had! They are on the wild menu and are chicken tenders tossed in honey-chipotle sauce. They also come with fries that are seasoned and very good and corn on the cob, although I opted to get a salad instead of the corn on the cob.
I had such a hard time choosing! There are so many new items that sound so good. I’ll have to get Jenny to go back soon and try some more off the new menu. We will have to hurry though because the menu is only available for a limited time.
