Checking out the Dial™ NutriSkin™ #DialNutriSkin #Cbias

02.22.2012 by Girl on Fire // 6 Comments

I am the ashiest white girl you will ever meet.  My dry skin shows up so much more because of my tattoos as well.  I get it all the time…”Girrrrrrrl you are soooooo ashy!  Put some lotion on!”

Thing is…I DO put lotion on!  I swear I do.  It’s just that dry that it sucks it all in.  I don’t know what the deal is.  So I’m always willing to try lotions because I go through them so quickly.  I also have sensitive skin so some lotions make the issue worse.

So I heard there was a demo for Dial™ NutriSkin™ at a local Walmart.  I love demos because you get to try before you buy, learn about the product and sometimes they even have coupons for you to buy the product.  I bribed Jeremy to take me by reminding him of the great Fishing dept that Walmaer has and we were on our way.

The demo was at a Walmart location that I have not visited in a long time.  The entire store had been remodeled.  I felt like an idiot walking in circles trying to find everything I needed on my shopping list.  You can view my shopping trip on Google+.  The Pharmacy area was in the middle of the store near the back.  When I found it, I found the booth near the make up in the same area.

I was disappointed that no one was there to school me on this new lotion.  I even left and came back and there was still no one there.  So I headed over anyhow to check it out.  There were 4 different lotions on display.  2 of which were for men.  I should have smelled them.  I didn’t….I’m not sure why.  I smell everything.  Does that make me weird?

There were some coupons at the booth so I snatched one and headed over to the lotion aisle to find the one I wanted to try.

Walmart has a HUGE selection of lotion!  I’m not even exaggerating.  I hate having so many choices.  I get all sweaty and panicky… overwhelmed.  But I spotted it!

Oops..that photo is kind of blurry!  There were a lot of people over there and I had to get what I came for and get the heck out!  I was surrounded.  I grabbed the one with the pump and 25% more and ran for cover.

I have only been using the lotion for a few days.  I do like it!  It is easy to apply and not greasy.  The only thing worse than being ashy is being greasy!  I will continue using it and let you know what I think after a few weeks by updating this post.

Crazy how many choices there can be, right? I always struggle to pick something out myself…that’s why I like when they do demos. I can shop with a mission.

Laughing at your “ashiest white girl”. My co-workers and I just had a similar conversation yesterday. Frank said white people don’t get ashy. Matthew strongly disagreed and held out his arm to prove it. I should bring a bottle of this lotion to work this morning and let them fix the problem. LOL!
