Bulletproof Coffee

If you have any interest in the health and fitness community, you have probably heard of bulletproof coffee. Bulletproof coffee is the latest and greatest thing to hit the weight loss world in decades. It is being praised for its ability to sharpen the brain, supply energy, and initiate rapid weight loss. We are going to tell you a little more about this marvel. The bulletproof coffee described here is the original receipt. We will tell you what it is and how it is made. After you have the standard recipe down, you can add to it to adjust the flavor if you would like to.

What is it?

Bulletproof coffee was invented by entrepreneur, Dave Asprey. Asprey, an expert in the field of high-quality coffee, and health invented the recipe from an ancient drink he was served while traveling in Tibet. While Asprey was a businessman and an author, his quest was not only for business. Asprey was obese, and unhealthy and he began his quest on a mission to improve his own health. It took several years and many studies and trials before he settled on the original recipe for Bulletproof coffee. Today there are many recipes but most agree, it is best to begin with the original, and tweak it as you mature.

Bulletproof coffee begins with the highest-grade coffee in the world. Grass-fed (unsalted) butter and pure MCT oils are added, and the drink is consumed hot.

What does it do?

Bulletproof coffee kicks give you energy and make you feel good. The drink clears your mental fog. You are sharper and can hold your focus better. The mixture of fats and oils kicks up your metabolism. You have no hunger for extended periods of time, and you naturally begin to drop excess pounds. When you combine this drink with a moderate protein, very low carb diet, the results are fast and impressive. You drop the weight easily. The use of the Brain Octane oils allows you to have high-energy without the crash that often comes with other diets.

Are there side effects?

There are a couple of things you will have to adjust to. First, if you consume the recipe at full strength without allowing your body time to get used to it, the high-fat concentrate will cause stomach upset. It is better to gradually build up the quantity of fat in your drink. Second, you will have no appetite. You will need to eat to remain healthy. In the beginning, it may be difficult to eat, but it is important that you do.

What is the original recipe?

Start with 8-12 ounces of freshly ground and freshly brewed coffee. We recommend Home Grounds coffee, as it is a high-quality coffee. You will use 2.5 (heaping) Tablespoons of coffee to brew your drink. To this, you will add 2 Tablespoons of Brain Octane Oil (also known as MCT Oil) Finally, add 2 Tablespoon of unsalted, grass-fed butter.

Important: begin with 1 teaspoon each, MCT Oil and butter and gradually increase to the above amount.

Variations

Over time you can adjust the recipe to your taste. However, it is recommended that you begin with the original recipe. Some people substitute Coconut Oil for the MCT oil for a nutty flavor. You can brew your coffee in a conventional brewer or use a French press. Some users do not like the oily taste. If this is a problem, use a hand-held blender to beat the coffee until it is foamy and it will have the consistency of an espresso.

Warnings

You must consume enough protein and carbs to remain healthy while on this program. It may be difficult, but it is important for your health that you eat with this plan. Exercise will be easier due to excess energy. Take advantage of that.

If you use Bulletproof coffee and continue to eat a high-fat and hit-calorie diet, you could gain weight. This is a tool. Used correctly it will serve you well.
